Huc & Gabet is an online secondhand bookseller based in Clunes (Booktown), Victoria, Australia. We are a small independent business with over ten years of online bookselling experience and thirty years of retail experience. We offer you honest, accurate and prompt service. 

All books listed for sale via our online store and ebay are currently in stock at the Huc & Gabet warehouse in Clunes. We do not source books from other booksellers or from overseas warehouses.

Scans and photos of any listed item are available on request.

All images of items are of the actual item for sale. We do not use stock photos or scans.

As well as selling books, we also buy them. We are selective and generally prefer non fiction and books in good condition. Please contact us for more information or a quote.

ebay buyers:

Postage is as listed on ebay.

For multiple purchases, please wait for a combined invoice, this could save you money.

Online store:

Once you have made an inquiry, or placed an order, we will get back to you with postage rates to your location before proceeding with the order. This may take a few minutes or a few hours depending on our schedule. Orders will only be processed when the postage cost has been confirmed by you.

Australian buyers:

• Pamphlets and thin books will be posted as large letters: $3.00 or $5.00 (depending on weight).
• Books under 500g will be posted as a parcel post satchel: $8.00.
• Books (including multiple purchases) over 500g will be posted as a parcel or in a parcel post satchel: $10
• We are happy to combine multiple items in the one parcel (this can save you money on the postage per item).

Overseas buyers:

Postage varies depending on the weight of the book (or books) and your location. Please contact us for more details.

All items are posted via Australia Post.

All books are packed with care to avoid damage in the post. We do not send books loosely inserted into an envelope. We do not charge for packaging (as we use recycled packaging), or for handling.
